Terms of Service

Effective date: July 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BillReach ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BillReach is an automated invoice reminder service for freelancers and small businesses. The Service sends email reminders to your clients on your behalf based on your configuration.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis with monthly or annual billing options. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record — Paddle is the seller of record and is responsible for payment processing and for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes or VAT. Your subscription is subject to Paddle's terms and privacy policy. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access until then, you will not be charged again after cancellation, and no refunds are issued for partial or unused billing periods. BillReach offers a 14-day free trial; you will not be charged during the trial, and if you do not cancel before it ends, your selected plan begins and your payment method is charged. Users in Egypt may alternatively subscribe by paying via InstaPay; these local subscription payments are processed manually.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Service to send spam, harass recipients, or violate any applicable email marketing laws (including CAN-SPAM and GDPR). You are solely responsible for the content of reminder emails and for ensuring you have a legitimate basis for contacting your clients.

5. User Data

You retain ownership of all data you provide (client information, invoice data). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, failed email deliveries, or client disputes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.

10. User-Provided Content and Links

BillReach is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or safety of any links, payment instructions, or information provided by users. Users are solely responsible for the content they send to their clients. BillReach does not verify or endorse user-provided links or payment details.

11. Payment Methods You Provide

You may configure your own payment methods — a payment link, bank transfer details, and e-wallets such as InstaPay or Vodafone Cash — that are shown to your clients in reminder emails. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of these details. BillReach does not process, receive, hold, or verify any payments your clients make through these user-provided methods; such payments are strictly between you and your client.

12. Informational Guidance (Not Legal Advice)

BillReach may provide general informational guidance and templates — for example, suggested steps for pursuing unpaid invoices or a formal demand-letter template — as a convenience feature. This is general information only and is NOT legal advice. Laws vary by country, and you should consult a qualified local lawyer in your client's country before taking action. BillReach is not a law firm, does not provide legal services, and is not liable for any outcome arising from your use of this guidance or these templates.
